Thank you for the reminder of the value of a writers' group. I've put off finding an online group, thinking "Well, maybe I'll just go for some prompts..." but I do so much better with someone's spark lighting a fire in my brain. Your comments about the state of the world and our choices about how to react (all those ways!) come from a perspective of age we share. The sage's poem made me think about how our perceptions and imagination create our reality. Thank you for your poem and the murmuration video - nice wrap up.

Thank you for your thoughtful response to the post, Winter. I resisted writer's groups for years. I think chemistry is everything. Please do check out the link to Diane's regular groups. She s a gem and I have gotten a lot of work done in her groups along with the camaraderie of being in a regular gathering of people serious about thier commitment to craft and creativity. I also have never been keen on prompts —should not MY Muses determine what I write about?!? But Diane's prompts have yielded — surprisingly and with gratefulness — several new chapters to my 'sorta memoir' draft that I had no inkling needed to be written.
